Thank you for your prayers over my Dad’s surgery. He had a successful surgery and is well on his way for recovery. We are praising God for being near to us and comforting us while we waited. We are continuing to pray for an anointed time of recovery over my Dad and that the Peace of God will continue to flow like a powerful river into his spirit in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Here are some scriptures from my Dad’s recent House of Hope words that have reminded us to trust in God during this time:
Isaiah 46:4 NIV
“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”
Job 33:4 NASB1995
“The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”
Psalms 27:5 NASB1995
“For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.”
Proverbs 16:9 NASB1995
“The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.”
After the surgery, my dad was able to listen to some worship music. Here are two songs by Charity Gale that particularly ministered to him:
